Iran on Tuesday rejected Israeli claims that it had launched new missiles toward Israel following the recent ceasefire. The Iranian Armed Forces stated there had been no missile attacks targeting “occupied Palestinian territories” in recent hours, as reported by the semi-official Tasnim news agency.
In a strong rebuttal, Iran’s Supreme National Security Council warned of a resolute and decisive response to any further acts of aggression by Israel. “Any new attack will be met with a firm and immediate response,” the council declared in its official statement.
The council also hailed what it described as a strategic victory, asserting that Israel had been forced into an “unilateral halt” of its military operations. “The enemy was compelled to accept defeat,” the statement said, emphasizing Iran’s preparedness to defend its sovereignty.
The exchange of accusations comes amid heightened regional tensions following a fragile ceasefire agreement brokered earlier this week. Iran’s latest remarks underline its intent to deter further escalation.
