Doha, Qatar – 31 August 2025: Park House English School, The Hamilton International School and Durham School for Girls Doha, part of the International Schools Partnership (ISP) welcomed students back to school today for the new academic year. The transition into the 2025-2026 term following the long summer break saw new and returning students marking their return to the classrooms across the country.

From engaging classroom setups to personalised orientation programs, the ISP schools ensured a smooth transition, making each child feel comfortable, secure, and eager to embark on their learning journey.

By fostering open communication and providing comprehensive resources, all efforts were made to ensure families felt welcomed and integrated into a school environment that champions academic rigor as well as holistic well-being, in alignment with the nation’s vision for a knowledge-based society.

John Smith, Principal at Park House English School, commented: As we welcome our families back to Park House for the new academic year, there is a genuine sense of excitement across our community. Our world-class results, which are amongst the very best in Qatar, together with our outstanding successes in performing arts and sport, reflect the remarkable talent and dedication of our students and staff. We look forward to building on this success and to another year of exceptional learning and achievement.

Terry Senior, Principal at The Hamilton International School, said: ‘’As we begin this new academic year at Hamilton, I want to remind our community of parents, staff and students that we are on this journey together. Every day is an opportunity to grow, to challenge ourselves and to celebrate the joy of learning. Let us ignite passion, nurture purpose and support one another as we chase limitless potential. Together we will make this a year of confidence, curiosity, and amazing learning for every child.”

Jo Hayward, Principal at Durham School for Girls, added; ““I am especially looking forward to this academic year, as we welcome back our returning families, and welcome new families into our community. We have many new and exciting initiatives, and events planned for our girls and for our families. We are excited to be showcasing the new and enhanced learning areas that are coming to our school, and through ISP’s focus on Multilingualism, we are also looking at further developments to our Arabic language learning.”

ISP’s focus on holistic learning where the well-being of each student is prioritised along with their academic journey continues to pay rich dividends with outstanding status for their schools in Qatar.

ISP Schools deliver an outstanding British curriculum education through an integrated approach to learning. This focus on academic excellence, combined with emotional resilience, cultivates future-proof students. As Qatar solidifies its position as a global epicentre for premium British curriculum education, ISP schools’ teachers and support staff are deeply invested in student growth, ensuring each child feels known, valued, and championed.

At the core of ISP’s philosophy is its Learning.First.™ framework, which drives student success now and in the future. This framework seamlessly integrates with ISP’s five educational pillars: academic achievement, multilingualism, life competencies, international opportunities, and future pathways. ISP specifically emphasises international learning, cultivates a strong commitment to multilingualism, and provides a clear spotlight on future university and career pathways.

This comprehensive approach ensures students not only excel academically but also build resilience, cultural fluency, practical skills, and a clear sense of direction.
