Sanaa, May 06 (QNA) – The Israeli entity on Tuesday launched a series of airstrikes that targeted critical facilities in Sanaa and its vicinity, in a second assault within 24 hours.
The Israeli offensive targeted Sanaa International Airport, three electricity substations, and a cement factory in Amran Governorate, international and Yemeni media outlets reported.
Sources reported that the airstrikes targeted three civil aircraft, a departure hall, a tarmac at the airport, and a military airbase, highlighting that numerous explosions could be heard and that fumes were rising in several areas across Sanaa.
On Monday, US and Israeli combat fighters conducted a series of airstrikes on Hodeidah Port and Bajil Cement Factory in the northeast of Hodeidah, inflicting massive devastation on its facilities, in addition to killing two persons and injuring 42 others.
