Gaza, December 25 (QNA) – A Palestinian was killed and others were injured on Thursday when Israeli occupation forces opened fire on a gathering of residents in the northern Gaza Strip.
Two other Palestinians were also injured when occupation forces opened fire on the Halawa camp in the town of Jabalia, north of the Gaza Strip.
Israeli occupation aircraft launched several raids today east of Gaza City, and occupation forces carried out demolition and shooting operations in several parts of the Strip.
Local sources reported that Israeli warplanes launched two airstrikes east of Gaza City, with no casualties, coinciding with artillery shelling and gunfire from helicopters east of the city.
The occupation army also carried out demolition operations throughout the night and this morning in the eastern areas of Jabalia, Khan Yunis and Rafah, and occupation vehicles opened fire near the Moraj area south of Khan Yunis city.
The ceasefire agreement between Hamas and the Israeli entity came into effect on Oct. 10, following the withdrawal of the occupation army from populated sites and areas in the Gaza Strip, and the start of the return of displaced people to the northern Gaza Strip, as part of the first phase of US President Donald Trump’s initiative to end the war on Gaza.
