Japan-based Kashmiri Diaspora Community pays rich tributes to Syed Ali Gillani on his 3rd death anniversary:

MIRPUR  ( AJK): Sept. 2: Tokyo-based renowned Kashmiri-diaspora community leader and Chairman of Kashmir Solidarity Forum Japan Shahid Majeed Advocate paid rich tribute to veteran Kashmir freedom struggle leader Syed Ali Geelani on his third death anniversary observed on Sunday for his struggle for the rights of the oppressed people of Jammu and Kashmir.

In a statement, reaching and released to the media here on Monday he said that Syed Ali Geelani has been a beacon of hope for the Kashmiri nation for a long time, his efforts have given countless Kashmiris the courage to persevere in the struggle for self-determination, his tireless work for the Kashmiri people. And the sacrifices will always remain in our hearts and minds, he added .

Shahid Majeed continued that  Syed Ali Shah Geelani was a great Kashmiri leader and saluted his determination for the right of self-determination of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

The Kashmiri Diaspora community leader said said that despite the hardships of detention and imprisonment by the Indian forces for a long time, he continued to raise his voice for the Kashmiris. This is the reason why even today the Kashmiri people could not be diverted from their struggle for their fundamental right of self-determination.

Lauding Syed Ali Shah Geelani’s life time meritorious services to the national  Kashmir cause, he observed that the departed leader was such a powerful legacy that inspires the Kashmiri people even today. The Kashmiri people will continue their struggle for the freedom of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir according to the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council, he reiterated Kashmiris firm resolve to secure their birth right to self determination.

Shahid Majeed  thanked the Government of Pakistan for continuation of  its ever lasting  moral, diplomatic and political support to the legitimate struggle of the Kashmiri people, the message concluded .
