JK Supermarket has officially opened its doors to provide Bangladeshi vegetables, fish, and daily necessities to expatriates in Qatar at affordable prices.
The inauguration ceremony was held on Wednesday, August 6, at the Old Vegetable Market in Qatar. The ribbon was cut by the chief guest, First Secretary of the Bangladesh Embassy, Abdullah Al Razi, along with Qatari sponsor Fatema Hashem and the owner of the supermarket, Golam Sarwar Kamrul. Special guests included President of the Lakshmipur District Association Doha Qatar, Md. Bahar Uddin; community leader Hasan Ahmed; Akash Media Bhuban Director, E M Akash; prominent businessman Riaz Shahajan; and others.
Speaking on the occasion, supermarket authorities announced that all fresh Bangladeshi vegetables, fish, and daily necessities will be available, along with a 24-hour home delivery service for Bangladeshi expatriates across Qatar. The First Secretary of the Embassy congratulated the initiative and expressed appreciation on behalf of the Bangladesh Embassy.
