MIRPUR ( AJK): July 14: Describing July 13, 1931 as historic foundation day of the Kashmir freedom movement and a turning point of the Kashmiris just and principled struggle for securing right to self determination, Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) on Monday commended KGC for organising an international conference on Kashmir in Washington on the eve of anniversary of July 13 martyrs, organisers said in a statement released to the media here Monday.
The JKLF Spokesman Muhammad Rafiq Dar said “the JKLF hopes the conference achieved its desired goal especially in providing a way forward expecting the Kashmiri diaspora will promote and highlight Kashmir cause in a unified way and in pro-Kashmir perspective.
Chief Spokesman JKLF continued that the Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) remembers the great martyrs of 13 July, 1931 on the eve of their martyrdom anniversary observed yesterday.
In a statement issued from the party’s central information office, the JKLF chief spokesman Muhammad Rafiq Dar said that the entire central party leadership paid glowing tributes to the martyrs of 13 July, 1931.
While paying rich tributes to the said martyrs, the party leaders including acting chairman Raja Haq Nawaz Khan, Prof. Raja Zafar Khan, Hafiz M. Anwar Samavi, Khawaja Saifudin, Saleem Haroon, Sardar Zahid Hussain, Sabir Gul, Khawaja Manzoor A Chishti, Sardar Javed Hanif, Sardar M Anwar Khan and Hafiz Mumtaz Ahmed in vowed to continue the struggle until the achievement of the goal of freedom of Jammu Kashmir state.

The JKLF offered prayers in favour of the martyrs of Jammu Kashmir who have given their lives for the sacred cause of freedom of their motherland.
Meanwhile, the JKLF chief spokesman, Muhammad Rafiq Dar, in his statement has appreciated the west based renowned Kashmiri diaspora organisation ‘Kashmir Global Council (KGC)’ for organising an international conference on Kashmir in Washington DC, USA today on the eve of anniversary of 13 July martyrs.
Rafiq Dar, while hailing the efforts of the organisers especially of Mr. Farooq Siddiqi (President KGC) and of Mr. Altaf Qadri (Convener KGC), termed the initiative as timely and need of the moment. For both the leaders being among the pioneers of the current freedom struggle and close associates of incarcerated Chairman JKLF Muhammad Yasin Malik, the spokesman hopes them to achieve the desired goal of the conference.
Rafiq Dar in his press release said that JKLF expects the Kashmiri diaspora to promote and present the Kashmir cause at international level in a unified way according to the principles of pro-Kashmiri perspective, especially when the Trump administration in America is keen to work for Kashmir resolution.
JKLF again expects the KGC for providing a platform for Kashmiri leadership and the participants of the conference to set a unanimously agreed upon way forward compatible with the principles of the national liberation struggle, historical facts and the sacrifices rendered by the entire population of the State of Jammu Kashmir.
