MIRPUR  (AJK): August  29 : “Since the internationally-acknowledged disputed state of Jammu and Kashmir is,inalienable entity, geographically, politically and historically, the  Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front -JKLF ( Yasin Malik faction) will continue its peaceful political and diplomatic struggle to restore the unity and integrity of the state of Jammu and Kashmir, achieve complete independence and sovereignty being  a prosperous, dignified, and secular state.

The journey towards this goal will not be hindered by any obstacles, and achieving this goal is only possible through the construction of a national-level organization, the philosophy of collective leadership, and strict adherence to organizational discipline”, says a press release issued by the JKLF’s Zonal Spokesperson, Advocate Saad Ansari, quoting a unanomous stance adopted in an extremely important general workers’ meeting of the JKLF’s Azad Jammu Kashmir Gilgit-Baltistan Zone held in Kotli, Azad Jammu Kashmir yesterday.

The meeting was attended by the central and zonal leadership of the JKLF, the central leadership of the Student Liberation Front, and a large number of presidents, general secretaries, and workers from district, tehsil, and local units, according to the PR

The press release issued by Zonal Spokesperson Advocate Saad Ansari continued that the JKLF’s general workers’ meeting was specially addressed via video link by the acting chairman of the Liberation Front, Raja Muzaffar, and the zonal president of the Liberation Front’s Azad Kashmir Gilgit-Baltistan Zone, Dr. Tauqeer Gilani, from the United States.

The press release said that during the meeting, zonal officials discussed topics such as the historical and geographical status of the state of Jammu and Kashmir, the national freedom movement, political and economic programs, current and future challenges, the party’s constitution, constitutional responsibilities, the role of students and women in the movement, organizational discipline, the use of print, electronic, and social media, and the movement for public rights.

Later, a comprehensive question-and-answer session was also held, in which workers from all levels actively participated. This session lasted for nearly two hours, during which questions related to strengthening the organization and the movement were discussed. The zonal leadership responded to the questions in light of the organization’s policy, constitution, and current circumstances.

Earlier in the JKLF’s workers’ meeting, the leadership and workers collectively took an oath as stipulated in the organization’s constitution and renewed their commitment.

The meeting was addressed by the acting chairman of the JKLF, Raja Muzaffar, National Zone President Dr. Tauqeer Gilani, acting Zonal President Advocate Tauseef Jarral, Zonal General Secretary Jahangir Mirza, Zonal Chief Organizer Sardar Aman Kashmiri, Zonal Spokesperson Saad Ansari, Zonal Women’s Secretary Tahira Tauqeer, Zonal Political Department Head Raja Taufeeq Ajaib, Central Chairman of the Students Liberation Front Advocate Raja Danish, and Central Secretary of Information Advocate Shakeel Chaudhry.

The proceedings of the meeting were conducted by the District President of the Liberation Front Kotli, Ayaz Kareem, with the permission of the Zonal Secretary.

According to the spokesperson, the meeting lasted for six hours, during which other administrative matters were also discussed. The central vice-chairman, Sardar Rehman, thanked all the organizers, especially the officials of district Kotli, for the successful convening of the workers’ meeting (convention). The meeting was also attended by Supreme Council members Habib Tabassum Mughal, Sardar Khursheed, Zonal Vice President Sardar Fayyaz, Zonal Finance Secretary Liaquat Malik, Bagh District President Ejaz Pasha, Haveli District President Sajjad Thani, Tehsil President Tata Pani Sardar Altaf, Kotli City President Raja Taimoor, Tehsil President Khoi Ratta Raja Abid, Tehsil President Dadyal Raja Nazim Kashmiri, Tehsil President Nikyal Chacha Shafiq, Senior Vice Chairman of SLF Sardar Fahad, Vice Chairman Tashfeen Shah, former central convener of SLF Saddam Hayat, central in-charge of the media cell Nabeel Ahmed Qureshi, Finance Secretary Majid Kashmiri, President of SLF Kotli University Mohsin Jahangir, senior leader Tazeem Mughal, Advocate Sajid Rizwan Chughtai, Sajjad Thani, Sardar Fida Abdul Mateen Mahmood Butt, Azhar Abbas, Khizer Abbas, Abdullah Naveed, Raja Abdul Waheed, Imran Ahmed, Muin Dar, Nazir Kashmiri, Khawaja Sohail, Aizaz Gilani, Talat Butt, Asif Jarral, Tariq Kashmiri, Ashfaq Kashmiri, Jameel Afzal, Mohammad Saqib, and many other members of the Liberation Front and Student Liberation Front.
