Amman, February 04 (QNA) – HE Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Dr. Jaafar Hassan met Tuesday in Amman with HE Minister of State for International Cooperation Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations and ways to support and develop them, as well as enhancing cooperation between the two countries in providing humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip. In addition, they discussed a number of topics of common interest.
The two sides emphasized the importance of Qatari-Jordanian cooperation in ensuring the delivery of humanitarian, medical, and shelter aid to the Palestinian brethren in the Gaza Strip, which would contribute to alleviating their suffering and improving their living and health conditions.
The meeting was attended by HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Sheikh Saud bin Nasser Al-Thani and HE Acting Director of the International Cooperation Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Ahmed Al Asiri.
