MIRPUR ( AJK): October 21: Kashmir secured another great honour after Mirpur-AJK origin young expert of Information Technology Faisal Iqbal Ratayal, was appointed as as the Chief Executive Officer of the National Information Technology Board of the government of Pakistan in acknowledgement of his outstanding performance in the federal service, it was officially said.

Ratayal is currently serving as Director General of Telecom and Information Technology Department of the federal government.

Federal cabinet of the Government of Pakistan has accorded formal approval for appointment of Faisal Iqbal Ratayal as Chief Executive Officer of the National Information Technology Board for next 3 years period and the formal notification has also been issued by the Ministry of Information and Telecommunication, Islamabad.

According to the details, the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecom Government of Pakistan, while paying tribute to Faisal Iqbal Ratayal, currently serving as Acting CEO of the National Information Technology and Telecom Board, Faisal Iqbal, for his excellent performance and services at the national level in the field of Information Technology and Telecom, said that the federal cabinet, in its recent meeting, gave formal approval for the appointment of Faisal Iqbal Ratial as the Chief Executive Officer of the National Information Technology Board and the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication, Islamabad, has also issued a formal notification.

Faisal Iqbal Ratial, a first class native of the State of Jammu and Kashmir, is the son of retired Secretary Electricity of Azad Jammu Kashmir Engr
Muhammad Iqbal Ratial.

Faisal Iqbal Ratayal is receipant of an award for his outstanding performance in the field of Information Technology and Telecom at the federal level a few months ago.

People from all schools of thought in AJK have appreciated the excellent services of the talented Kashmiri son of the soil, Faisal Iqbal Ratayal congratulating his father Secretary (retd) Electricity of Azad Kashmir Engr Muhammad Iqbal Ratial, on his appointment as the Chief Executive Officer of “NITB”, describing his induction observing that “selection of Faisal Ratyal, upholds the sanctity of merit at the federal level”.
