MIRPUR (AJK) April 13: Veteran Kashmiri trade union leader and prominent representative of the business community Chaudhry Mahmood has expressed full trust and confidence in Pakistan’s civil and military leadership praising their role in enhancing the country’s standing at the international level.
Speaking to senior media representatives in Mirpur on Sunday evening Chaudhry Mahmood said Prime Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal General Syed Asim Munir played an effective and timely diplomatic role during recent Iran USA Israel tensions which helped protect the Middle East from a major potential crisis and contributed significantly to global peace.
Mahmood who serves as Central President of Markazi Anjuman e Tajran Ittehad Group Azad Jammu Kashmir said Pakistan has always given priority to peace stability and the peaceful resolution of disputes through dialogue and the recent diplomatic efforts reflect continuation of this longstanding policy.
He said Pakistan’s leadership has shown wisdom patience and foresight sending a strong and positive message to the international community while reinforcing the country’s image as a responsible and moderate state amid rising global tensions and conflicts.
Chaudhry Mahmood further stated that the professional competence and leadership of Field Marshal General Syed Asim Munir have played an important role in strengthening both defence and diplomacy helping project Pakistan as a dignified and powerful nation on the world stage.
He emphasized that harmony between military and political leadership remains essential for national interests and said its positive results are becoming increasingly visible.
Mahmood concluded by saying the Pakistani nation should take pride in its leadership which is steering the country in the right direction during difficult times particularly amid challenges facing the world and the Middle East.
