KISE-sponsored workshop devise integrated program to make special-persons skilled, self supported for their bread-earning:

MIRPUR (AJK): September 1st. A day-long capacity-building workshop concluded here on Monday with due recommendations and healthy suggestions for employment of special children including hearing-impaired and deprived special children through making them skilled in different disciplines for their bread earning without relying upon any sort of crutches.

Renowned NGO Kashmir Institute of Special Education (KISE) hosted the workshop, attended by dozens of the special children. The event resolved to device identical special training programs based on strong planning to make hearing-impaired educated boys and girls self supported financially through stepping into various attractive jobs of employment of their respective choice.

“This project of the capacity building workshop remained successful by infusing spirit of unity, confidence, and dedication among the special students”, Director KISE Dr Amjad Insari told our Special Jammu Kashmir state Correspondent Altaf Hamid Rao at the sideline of the workshop here this afternoon.

“The workshop will help the participants to get a decent job to live a successful life”, speakers including Insari Welfare Trust President Mirza Wajahit Baig and the chair – Director KISE Dr. Amjad Ansari said while addressing the concluding session of the workshop.

Earlier while addressing the session, all the paeticipant teachers of KISE presented their respective projectts besides healthy suggestions for implementation of the plans for exploring the job opportunities matching to their respective skills.

Speakers shared their respective ideas on securing professional skills to achieve decent employment particularly hearing-impaired graduate and under-graduate students.

Teachers at KISE imparted introductory training through due basic know-how of computer designing, composing, tailoring, and other handicraft services to the participants special students besides craft making, beautician, event organization, photographer, special teacher, barber, calligrapher, through online programs.

Partipant KISE teachers also presented their respective implemented projects based on ideas such as business, video games, and cake making. Requisite worksheets were compiled for the students including in the working groups.

The participants were informed about the scheduled practical work on the projects to be implemented in letter and spirit in next sessions of the workshop.

Trust Finance Secretary Tariq Mahmood Mir, Muhammad Saleem Chohan, Nawaz Aziz, Principal Madam Muneezah Abrar and others also spoke on the project on the coming skill development to be launched soon primarily aimed at to help the hearing and speech impaired besides those who stand able to communicate in sign language.
