Lebanese Health Ministry: Death toll of Israeli aggression rises to 2,141 Dead, 10,099 injured

Beirut, October 09 (QNA) – The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced Wednesday that the death toll of the ongoing Israeli aggression on Lebanon since October 2023 has risen to 2,141 dead and 10,099 injured.

The Ministry of Health said in a statement that the Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon last Tuesday, resulted in the death of 22 people and the injury of 80 others.
According to statistics, Mount Lebanon Governorate recorded four injuries, while South Lebanon suffered the worst impact, with 12 people killed and 37 injured. In Nabatieh, two people were killed and 34 injured, while the raids in the Bekaa resulted in 7 deaths and 3 injuries.

The Baalbek-Hermel region also recorded one death and two injuries.

Lebanon has been subjected to Israeli aggression since October 2023, but in recent days the Israeli entity has increased the pace of aerial and artillery bombardment in an unprecedented manner, and expanded the scope of its targeting to extend to the capital, Beirut, which has caused thousands of deaths and injuries, and forced more than a million people to flee their homes.
