Doha, July 24 (QNA) – HE Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya), and Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Police Academy, Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, attended the graduation ceremony of the first batch of the Master’s in Law and Master’s in Security Studies at the College of Graduate Studies, featuring 17 graduates.
The ceremony also marked the graduation of the 10th mandatory qualification course for male university graduates at the Police College with 76 graduates, and the 3rd course for female graduates at the Women’s Police Institute with 17 participants.
Also in attendance were HE Minister of State for Interior Affairs Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Faisal bin Mohammed Al-Thani, HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani, and HE Advisor to HH the Amir for Defense Affairs Hamad bin Ali Al Attiyah, along with other dignitaries and families of the graduates.
Following the ceremony, HE the Minister of Interior attended the graduation of the fourth group of the sixth edition of the “Tomorrow’s Police” summer program, which included 400 young participants.
The Master’s programs aim to build specialized legal and security competencies and strengthen analytical skills to meet the demands of modern legal and security challenges. The mandatory qualification courses prepare national cadres for security service through professional training, legal education, and leadership development.
Outstanding graduates were honored during the event. Cadet officer Khalifa Rashid Abdullah Al Kuwari was recognized as the top graduate in the male course, and cadet officer Maha Hassan Al Nuaimi led among female graduates.
The “Tomorrow’s Police” graduation included a visual film, live demonstrations, and security scenarios showcasing skills such as infantry, shooting, swimming, and self-defense. The program focuses on national identity, leadership, responsibility, and Islamic and Arab values through practical and educational activities.
