Students of MNS University of Agriculture, Multan, have returned to their classes after successfully completing their responsibilities in the Wheat Campaign 2025–26. Around 350 students from MNSUAM remained in the field throughout the Punjab Government’s campaign, where they assisted in farmer training programs and activities organized by the Agriculture Extension Department. During this period, they interacted with growers, gained valuable practical experience, and helped strengthen the linkage between the University and farming communities, ensuring effective transfer of knowledge from academia to the field.
As part of the campaign, MNS University of Agriculture Multan organized a Farmer Convention and Seminar at its Jalalpur Pirwala campus, where over 200 local farmers participated and received guidance on modern wheat production technologies. A Field Day was also held at the University, attended by faculty members and students. Additionally, the University conducted two roadshows in Multan to promote the “Grow More Wheat” initiative.
Prof. Dr. Asif Ali (T.I.), Vice Chancellor MNSUAM, appreciated the dedication of the students and faculty and advised them to remain in contact with the farmers they met during the campaign. He emphasized the importance of continued guidance throughout the cropping season. The University will provide weekly weather forecasts and advisory services to support farmers in wheat production for the entire season.
