After taking the charge of vice chacellor of MNSUAM Professor Dr Zulifqar Ali hold the meeting with faculty and administration staff to review the ongoing academic and administrative activities in the university. He said being a professor us a grace but equally a responsibility to deliver best services in the class as well as beyond the class room to the community. We have to prepare young generation that must be equipped with knowledge and skills. We have to develop a research culture which can solve the problems of the farmer community for which these universities are built. Agriculture is the backbone of the economy and we have to strengthen it with up to date technology and practical solutions. Govt. Of Punjab has focused to uplift the overall Agriculture sector and this is the time we have to play our role significantly. We have to increase our productivity with efficiency so that we can meet challenges in the international markets. Issued like climate change and water scarcity are some of the burning issues for which we need to find solutions through modern research tools. Faculty should play an effective role to address these issues and orepare the graduates who can address the emerging issues.
