Doha, September 01 (QNA) – The Ministry of Labour (MoL), through its Department of Qualifying and Skills Development, in partnership with Al-Araby TV Network, on Monday concluded a six-month technical training programme for Qatari nationals and children of Qatari women and honoured the graduates.
The initiative aimed to equip participants with practical skills and technical expertise for careers in the private media sector.
The programme provided intensive, hands-on training in a professional studio environment, covering television filming, directing, editing, production, programme planning, lighting, sound, and media content management.
Participants gained first-hand experience of the media workplace, enhancing their readiness to meet the demands of the industry.
This initiative reflects the Ministry of Labour’s commitment to preparing national talent for private-sector employment, particularly in creative and media fields, in line with the Qatar National Vision 2030.
It also underscores the Ministry’s ongoing collaboration with private-sector partners to develop high-quality training programmes that support the nationalisation of the workforce.
The programme represents a successful partnership between the Ministry of Labour and Al-Araby TV Network, formalised through a cooperation agreement, and forms part of broader efforts to strengthen the skills and employability of Qatari graduates and children of Qatari women in the private sector.
