Istanbul, October 31 (AA) – Acting NASA Administrator and U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy has firmly rejected reality TV star Kim Kardashian’s recent claim that American astronauts never landed on the Moon, reiterating that the United States accomplished this historic feat six times.
In a recent episode of The Kardashians, Kardashian questioned the authenticity of the 1969 Apollo 11 mission, suggesting inconsistencies in the footage. She remarked, “They’re gonna say I’m crazy no matter what, but like, go to TikTok. See for yourself. There’s no gravity on the Moon. Why is the flag blowing?”
Responding on social media platform X, Duffy wrote: “We’ve been to the Moon before… six times!” He emphasized that NASA’s Artemis program is preparing to send astronauts back to the lunar surface “under the leadership of President Donald Trump.”
Reaffirming U.S. confidence in space exploration, Duffy added, “We won the last space race and we will win this one too,” highlighting Washington’s renewed commitment to maintaining global leadership in science, technology, and innovation.
