MIRPUR (AJK): January 22: As a result of Lightening, scores of the nomads’ huts reduced to ashes in Bhaliyala locality of the adjoining New City here Thursday night, eye witness including local authorities said.

No loss of life was yet reported in the terrible fire mishap, local elder and resident Lateef Ghous told this Correspondent from the scene of occurance late Thursday over cell phone.

According to details gathered by this thus AJK Correspondent a severe lightning strike caused a fire in the huts of New City nomads. No casualties have been reported.. More details,are awaited.

The city had lashed with mild rainfall besides thunderstorm followed by lightening, the first heaviest rainfall of the season.
