Oath Taking Ceremony Marks Revival of Pakistan Social Club Oman

The Oath Taking Ceremony of the Interim Committee of the Pakistan Social Club Oman was held on 12 December 2025 at the Park Inn by Radisson Hotel Muscat marking the formal revival of the Club after a period of inactivity.
The ceremony commenced with Tilawat e Quran followed by Naat and the national anthems of the Sultanate of Oman and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan creating a dignified and respectful atmosphere.
The event was graced by H E Dr Syed Naveed Safdar Bokhari Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Sultanate of Oman as Chief Guest. Sheikh Syed Fayyaz Ali Shah Sheikh of the Pakistani and Pakistan Oman Community in Oman Founder and Chairman SFG attended as Guest of Honour. Other distinguished guests included Mr Abdulrahim bin Saif Al Kharousi Social Responsibility Specialist Mr Shabib bin Shams Al Zadjali Public Relations Specialist and Mr Mian Muhammad Munir Former Chairman Pakistan Social Club Oman.
In his welcome address General Secretary Mr Kashif Ahmed Zaeem warmly acknowledged the presence of esteemed guests and community members. He presented an overview of the Interim Committee introducing its members and assigned portfolios while reaffirming the Club’s commitment to unity transparency and community welfare.
The Oath of Office was administered by H E Dr Syed Naveed Safdar Bokhari to the members of the Pakistan Social Club Oman Interim Committee 2025.

During the proceedings Finance Secretary Mr Imran Toor shared his views regarding the proposed budget and future financial planning.
Guest of Honour Sheikh Syed Fayyaz Ali Shah addressed the gathering expressing gratitude to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq and commending his wisdom and leadership. He congratulated the newly appointed Interim Board and wished them success in serving the community.
Mr Shehzada Shehryar a prominent businessman from the United Kingdom also extended his congratulations and best wishes to the new committee.
In his keynote address H E Dr Syed Naveed Safdar Bokhari urged the Interim Board to uphold integrity unity and transparency and to work in the best interests of the community while strictly adhering to the laws and regulations of the Sultanate of Oman. He expressed appreciation to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq and the Ministry of Social Development for facilitating the establishment of social clubs which promote cultural exchange and strengthen bilateral relations.
A ceremonial cake cutting followed marking the official revival of the Pakistan Social Club Oman.
In his vote of thanks Chairman Mr Mohammad Nadeem Azeemi assured that fresh elections would be conducted by December 2026. He expressed sincere gratitude to the Ambassador Sheikh Syed Fayyaz Ali Shah senior community members and all supporters for their unwavering role in reactivating the Club.
The event was attended by officials from the Ministry of Social Development officers from the Pakistan Embassy and a large number of prominent members of the Pakistani community from various regions of Oman.
The programme was hosted by Ms Azra Aleem and Syed Shandaar Ali Shah Bukhari. The PowerPoint presentation was prepared and endorsed by Mr Taimur Kaleem while banner graphics were designed by Shumaila Aleem.
