MIRPUR ( AJK): Sept. 16: Chairman of Belgium- based Istehkam Wing Europe and President of Istehkam Forum Raja Muhammad Khalid, he has said that under the dynamic leadership of Field Marshal General Syed Asim Munir valiant Pakistan Army demonstrated immense courage, sacrifice, and a strong sense of duty during the recent devastating floods — a source of pride for the Pakistani nation and a shining example for the world.

Talking to media in London on Tuesday, he said that despite the floods affecting millions of people across the country destroying fields, homes, and roads in dozens of districts the soldiers of the Pakistan Army remained active in the field day and night, says a message reaching and released to the media here on Tuesday.

Khalid continued that through military helicopters and boats the affected people were evacuated to safer locations and essential food items, medicines, and clothing were provided.Additionally, field hospitals were set up where hundreds of patients received free medical treatment He emphasized that under General Asim Munir’s leadership,the Army not only conducted rescue operations but also initiated rehabilitation efforts in the affected areas, which are part of a long-term strategic plan He said the Pakistan Army played a key role in the restoration of bridges and roads helping reconnect isolated areas.

He noted that all of this was made possible at a time when the nation desperately needed strong and effective leadership He stressed that the sacrifices and services of Pakistan’s soldiers should be recognized globally.

Raja Muhammad Khalid also made a strong appeal to the overseas Pakistani community to financially support the affected families and to cooperate with the government and Pakistan Army in the rehabilitation process.

He appealed to the international community to provide urgent aid to Pakistan in the face of natural disasters so that the lives of the affected people can return to normal He concluded by saying that under General Asim Munir’s leadership, the Pakistan Army’s role will be recorded in history in golden words.
