Doha: President of the Pakistan Business Council, Mr. Israr Malazi, has announced the expansion of leading Pakistani infrastructure company ZKB (Zahir Khan & Brothers) into the Qatari market.
ZKB is widely recognized as one of Pakistan’s major road network and infrastructure development companies, with decades of experience in road construction and large-scale infrastructure projects across the country. The company has played a significant role in strengthening Pakistan’s transportation networks and executing complex construction works nationwide.
Mr. Mohabat Khan, Vice Chairman of ZKB, has formally initiated the company’s business operations in Qatar. As part of this expansion, he has acquired a factory and is preparing to undertake construction and related industrial activities in the country. The move represents an important step toward enhancing the presence of Pakistani enterprises within Qatar’s expanding infrastructure and development sector.
Ms. Sobia Sarmad, an active member of the Pakistan Business Council, played a key role in facilitating ZKB’s entry into the Qatari market by supporting coordination and engagement within the local business community.
Also present during the introduction were Mr. Mohammad Asad and members of the Malazi family, reflecting continued support for strengthening Pakistan–Qatar business ties.
The Pakistan Business Council reaffirmed its commitment to promoting Pakistani companies internationally and encouraging greater investment cooperation between Pakistan and Qatar.
