Ramallah, October 29 (QNA) – The Palestinian Presidency urged the US administration on Tuesday to stop its political, military, and financial support for the Israeli occupation, force it to comply with international legitimacy resolutions and international law, and stop its aggression against the Palestinian people.
In a statement, Official Spokesperson for the Palestinian Presidency Nabil Abu Rudeineh emphasized that the continuation of the war of genocide carried out by the Israeli occupation authorities against the Palestinian people is due to the absence of international accountability for its crimes. He noted that the international failure to hold the occupation accountable and stop its aggression has dragged the region to the brink of explosive conflict that has been warned of repeatedly.
He stressed that the region will remain trapped in a cycle of violence and instability without a just resolution to the Palestinian issue, in line with Arab and international legitimacy, including matters concerning Jerusalem and refugees.
Northern Gaza Strip, specifically Jabalia and Beit Lahia, has been subjected to a war of extermination, siege, destruction, the threat of famine, and forced displacement by the Israeli occupation for 25 days, as it has been prevented from bringing in food, water, fuel, and medicine, which has led to the martyrdom of more than a thousand Palestinians, along with dozens of wounded and missing.
