“WE CHOOSE PEACE !”

We heard the news, no more the fight,
No bombs, no guns, no deadly night.

From hills to towns, a joyful cheer,
Peace has come, and love is near.

No fear today, no tear, no pain,
The sky is clear, no smoke, no flame.

From Pakistan to India’s land,
Hearts are warm, and friendships stand.

We do not want to live in hate,
We want a kind and peaceful state.

The people smiled, the children played,
The song of hope and peace was made.

So hand in hand, let’s walk this way.
Let love and light forever stay.

And Munawar writes with hopeful voice,
In peace and love, we all rejoice.
