Qatar Amir meets President of the Republic of Benin

Doha, May 19 (QNA) – HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met at the Amiri Diwan on Monday with HE President of the Republic of Benin Patrice Talon.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed areas of cooperation between the two countries and ways to promote and expand them across various fields, as well as key regional and international developments of mutual concern.
The meeting was attended by HE Chief of the Amiri Diwan Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi, HE Minister of Commerce and Industry Sheikh Faisal bin Thani Al-Thani, and HE Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al Khulaifi.
From the Republic of Benin, the meeting was attended by HE Minister of Foreign Affairs Olushegun Adjadi Bakari, HE Minister of Economy and Finance Romuald Wadagni, and senior officials from the delegation accompanying HE the President.
HH the Amir and HE the President of Benin held earlier a bilateral meeting during which they exchanged views and opinions on a number of issues of joint interest.
