Abu Dhabi, March 31 (QNA) – HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani has held talks with HH President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi, focusing on recent regional and international developments and efforts to restore stability.
During the meeting on Tuesday, the two leaders discussed the rapidly evolving developments in the region, including ongoing tensions linked to Iranian attacks and their wider security implications. They also examined the impact of recent events on global energy supplies and market stability.
HH the Amir emphasized the importance of prioritizing diplomatic solutions to resolve conflicts, highlighting the need for strengthened cooperation to safeguard regional security and limit the global repercussions of ongoing crises.
The talks also covered bilateral relations between Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, with both sides stressing the importance of continued coordination and consultation across key issues, reflecting the strong fraternal ties and strategic partnership between the two nations.
The meeting was attended by HH Personal Representative of HH the Amir Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani; HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani; and HE Chief of the Amiri Diwan Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi; along with a number of Their Excellencies senior officials.
On the Emirati side, attendees included HH Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan; HH Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Adviser Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahya; HH Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, along with a number of Their Excellencies Sheikhs and senior officials.
