Qatar Investment and Innovation Conference Presents High-Level Panel on Fostering Entrepreneurship and Driving Economic Growth in the GCC

Doha, Qatar – 12 October 2025 – The Qatar Investment and Innovation Conference is proud to announce its first panel discussion, “Fostering Entrepreneurship and Driving Economic Growth in the GCC.” Co-organized by The Business Year and Msheireb Properties, the session will take place during the conference, themed “Driving GCC Entrepreneurial Growth,” scheduled for 3 November 2025 at Barahat Msheireb, Doha.

Held in strategic partnership with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), the forum is designed to foster dialogue between policymakers, investors, entrepreneurs, and innovators from across the Gulf.

This high-level conversation will focus on how public policy, institutional leadership, and cross-border collaboration can create stronger conditions for entrepreneurship in the GCC. Panelists will explore ways to strengthen regulatory frameworks, foster public-private partnerships, and support education and skills development, all with the aim of building a robust ecosystem for startups and SMEs.

The session will be moderated by Vanessa Rameix, Regional Director at The Business Year and includes the following distinguished panelists:

• Hussain Al Mahmoudi, CEO, Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park (SRTIP)
• Khaula Al Harthy, CEO, Injaz Oman

By bringing together influential leaders from financial hubs, innovation parks, and entrepreneurship networks, the panel will highlight the crucial role of policy frameworks and ecosystem enablers in accelerating startup growth.
