Qatar PM, FM receives phone call from Iranian Foreign Minister

Doha, April 21 (QNA) – HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani received Monday a phone call from HE Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr. Abbas Araghchi.
The call discussed bilateral cooperation relations and ways to strengthen and enhance them, as well as addressing developments in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories, along with several topics of mutual interest.
During the call, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar’s welcome of the agreement between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran to move to the next phase of talks aimed at reaching a fair, permanent, and binding agreement, which would enhance security, stability, and peace in the region, and open new horizons for cooperation and regional dialogue.
