Qatari League: Al Sadd, Al Ahli Both looking for win in week 11’s top clash

Doha, December 06 (QNA) – Head coach of Al Sadd Felix Sanchez said his team was ready for tomorrow’s match against Al-Ahli, which will be held at Al Thumama Stadium as part of week 11 of the QNB Stars League.

In the pre-match press conference, Sanchez that the match was very important given both sides had the same number of points so far. He praised Al Ahli’s performances this season, but stressed that his team was more than ready for the match after beating Al Nasr in the AFC Champions League.

On the other hand, Al Ahli’s Croatian coach Igor Biscan acknowledged the difficulty of facing the defending champions. He said that Al Ahli will be facing one of the best teams in Asia and the defending league champions from last season. He highlighted Al Sadd’s technical and physical strength and depth of squad. He maintained however that his players will be determined to win to continue their strong run.

Al Sadd currently sit second in the table with 21 points, ahead of Al Ahli on goal difference.
