Qatar’s Embassies, Consular Missions Celebrate State’s National Day

Doha, December 18 (QNA) – Qatar’s diplomatic, consular, and representative missions abroad celebrated the State’s National Day, observed annually on December 18, marking the anniversary of the founding of the State by Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed bin Thani. The celebrations witnessed broad official and public participation across various capitals and cities, reflecting Qatar’s strong relations with countries around the world.
Their Excellencies, heads of Qatar’s missions abroad, extended their warmest congratulations and best wishes to HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, HH the Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, and to the people of Qatar on this national occasion, celebrated this year under the slogan “With You It Rises, From You It Awaits.”
In statements marking the occasion, they affirmed that National Day embodies the values of loyalty and belonging, strengthens national identity, and reflects the commitment of successive generations to continue the path of development and prosperity under wise leadership.
The heads of missions highlighted the notable achievements of Qatari diplomacy in regional and international issues, driven by a foreign policy focused on promoting peace and the peaceful resolution of disputes.
They also underscored Qatar’s growing relations with sisterly and friendly countries across diplomatic, economic, cultural, and humanitarian fields, noting the State’s prominent global standing through its commitment to international cooperation, humanitarian assistance, sustainable development, climate action, and efforts to promote regional and international security.
