QNA Director-General meets Tunisian media delegation

Doha, May 06 (QNA) – HE Director-General of Qatar News Agency (QNA) Ahmed bin Saeed Al Rumaihi met on Tuesday with a Tunisian media delegation comprising President and CEO of Tunis Afrique Presse (TAP) Dr. Najeh Missaoui, CEO of the Tunisian Television Corporation Chokri Ben Nessir, and CEO of the Tunisian National Radio Corporation Henda Ben Alaya.
The meeting discussed aspects of joint media cooperation and explored ways to strengthen and expand them, as well as opportunities for exchanging expertise between the two news agencies.
The Tunisian media delegation also toured the headquarters of Qatar News Agency, where they were briefed on QNA’s pioneering experience and prominent media role at the local, regional, and international levels. They were also introduced to the agency’s professional, technical, and technological advancements over nearly half a century, which have established it as one of the leading news agencies regionally and globally.
The delegation visited various departments and editorial units under the News Department, including the Arabic and English editorial desks, digital content, photography and video, local news, and economic news. They received a detailed overview of the journalistic workflow and the multilingual news services provided around the clock, as well as the evolution of these services in line with technological advancements in the media and communications sector.
