Doha, March 24 (QNA) – The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index declined by 86.52 points, or 0.84%, to 10,205 points at the start of trading on Tuesday, compared to the previous session’s close, under pressure from five sectors.
The market was weighed down by the Real Estate sector, which fell 0.06%, Industrials (-0.20%), Consumer Goods and Services (-0.24%), Banks and Financial Services (-1.09%), and Transportation (-2.14%). Performances were positive for Insurance by 0.18% and Telecoms (+0.10%).
By 10:00 am, QSE recorded a total turnover of QR 162.859 million, with 54.223 million shares traded across 9,045 transactions.
