Doha, September 1, 2025 – Rahamat Shirin officially opened its first branch on Old Matar Street in Doha, Qatar, a location now widely known as the city’s “food street,” home to many restaurants, sweet shops, and bakeries. The launch on September 1 attracted a large crowd, with hundreds of people enjoying complimentary sweets offered by Rana Afzal and his team, creating a lively and festive atmosphere.
Looking ahead, the management announced plans to prepare special items such as samosas, nimak parey, and other popular delicacies for the upcoming September 6th observance, a significant date in Pakistan’s history.
Rahamat Shirin is celebrated for its authentic handmade sweets and will now serve both traditional Pakistani and Arabic varieties in Qatar. To ensure the highest standards, expert chefs from Pakistan and Jordan have been engaged, maintaining the brand’s hallmark of quality and taste.
The inauguration began with the recitation from the Holy Quran followed by prayers. Distinguished guests included Ch. Ajmal, a respected community leader, Waqas Malik, Country Manager of PIA in Qatar, Qaiser Khan, Zeeshan Chauhan, Ch. Mukhtar, and other notable figures from the community.
Speaking at the ceremony, the owner of Rahamat Shirin said:
“Assalam-o-Alaikum. We are proud to introduce Pakistan’s premium sweets to Qatar. All our products are prepared with pure milk sourced directly from dairy farms. With the expertise of our chefs from Pakistan and the region, we continue our tradition of excellence with barfi, gulab jamun, cham cham, ras malai, jalebi, samosas, and a full range of Arabic sweets.”
