Rs. 0.80 million disburse among deserving sick humanity in the fold of J&K Jarral Rajput Tribe Fora: President Hafiz Maqsood.

MIRPUR  ( AJK): July 29: Under the spirit to facilitate deserving monetarily-weak individual families belonging to the Jarral Rajput tribe, the community’s representative  forum – the Jammu &Kashmir Jaral Rajput Organization Mirpur district distributed more than Rs. 0.80 million as cash and ration/food relief during the last six months period with special focus for the treatment of patients under the already determined relief package.

This was disclosed by President Tanzeem Jaral Rajput Mirpur Hafiz Muhammad Maqsood Jarral in his half-yearly report on  welfare initiatives submitted in an extraordinary meeting of the officials of the Jaral Rajput Organization Mirpur held here yesterday.

Our Special Jammu Kashmir state Correspondent Altaf Hamid Rao reports from Mirpur that the meeting, chaired by  President of the Jaral Rajput Organization Mirpur, Hafiz Muhammad Maqsood Jaral, was attended among others by General Secretary Abdul Rehman Omar Jaral Advocate, Senior Vice President Mirza Abdul Bashir Jaral, Vice Presidents Zulfiqar ul-Hassan Jaral, Muhammad Ilyas Jaral, Deputy General Secretary Adil Jaral, Secretary Finance Zafar Javed Jaral, Secretary Publication Tariq Aziz Jaral and Mirpur City Coordinator Wajih ul-Hassan Jaral who  also shared their respective input and various healthy suggestions in the meeting

Unveiling the salient features of the welfare plan devised by the organization, at a news Conference here on Saturday, he revealed that the cash award of Rs. 390 thousand was given to encourage 26 talented students in educational development initiatives. The funds were contributed by philanthropists from amongst the tribe including Dr. Abdul Majeed Jaral, President of the US-based Jaral Rajput Foundation Mirpur, who provide over  Rs. 3 million for residential facilities to some deserving shelterless widows and Rs. 0.35 million for a clean water project.

After mutual consultation, the meeting unanimously set some goals for further welfare measures by carrying out the organizational activities in a coordinated and systematic manner, which. the meeting  declared, will be secured in the next three months. Hafiz Maqsood informed the media.

He continued that the meeting also decided to involve  more active personalities of the tribe in the cabinet and Advisory Council of the organisation after finalisation of the names in the next meeting of office bearers of the august fora of Jaral Rajput, one of the biggest ancient  tribes in the erstwhile State of Jammu & Kashmir.

Hafiz Maqsood further said that the meeting decided to lodge an  appeal to all of those in the fold of the organization to seek financial relief for the rehabilitation those deserving individuals and families died or injured in road accidents or falling sick of various diseases in the cityto through facilitating medicare.
