MOSCOW, March 26 – Russia has stated that no significant progress has been achieved on key issues in ongoing talks regarding the Ukraine crisis, particularly on territorial matters.
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said during a press briefing that while recent trilateral negotiations showed limited movement toward a possible settlement, major concerns for Moscow remain unresolved. He emphasized that issues of critical importance to Russia have yet to be agreed upon.
Territorial disputes continue to be a central focus of the discussions, reflecting the complexity of the negotiations and the challenges in reaching common ground among the parties involved.
Peskov also noted that Russia remains in contact with the United States regarding efforts to find a resolution to the conflict. He expressed hope that negotiations would resume in due course when conditions permit.
He further highlighted that restoring relations between Russia and the United States is in the mutual interest of both countries.
Since the beginning of the year, Russia, the United States, and Ukraine have held three rounds of trilateral talks, including the most recent meeting in Geneva in February.
