Moscow, April 09 (QNA) – Russia issued a warning on Wednesday regarding the risk of direct confrontation with any foreign military presence in Ukraine, emphasizing that it would consider such an act a threat to its security.
Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated in remarks that any foreign military presence in Ukraine, regardless of the flag, insignia, or declared mandates, would be seen by the Russian Federation as a security threat and could lead to direct military clashes with participants from NATO member states involved in such missions.
In the Paris summit for the “Coalition of the Willing” on March 27, French President Emmanuel Macron said that several members of the coalition are planning to send deterrence forces to Ukraine.
