Kyiv, July 21 (QNA) – Two people were killed and 23 others were injured in Russian attacks across several regions of Ukraine, Ukrainian authorities said on Tuesday.
According to Ukraine’s national news agency Ukrinform, Russian forces launched 40 drone strikes on the Dnipropetrovsk region, killing two people and injuring 17 others, including children.
In the northeastern Kharkiv region, five people were wounded in a separate Russian attack, while another person was injured in a drone strike in the northern Chernihiv region.
Separately, Ukraine’s Air Force said its air defense units shot down 46 of the 58 Russian drones launched overnight.
The attacks come as Russia has stepped up strikes on Ukrainian infrastructure, including port facilities, in recent days, with no immediate prospects for a political settlement.
