Samsung and Qatar’s Youth Entrepreneur Club celebrate first batch of Samsung Innovation Campus graduates with 64 students honored

The 3-month course on AI and machine learningmarks the graduation of 64 students across  22 nationalities.

Samsung Gulf Electronics, in collaboration with the Qatar Ministry of Sports and Youth and the Youth Entrepreneur Club, proudly announces the graduation of 64 students from the inaugural Samsung Innovation Campus (SIC) in Qatar. The ceremony, held in Doha under the theme “Together for Tomorrow! Enabling People,” celebrated the completion of a rigorous three-month course focused on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML).

President of Samsung Gulf Electronics, DooHee Lee, commends the graduates for their dedication and acknowledges their role in driving Qatar’s digital economy forward. The program, tailored for individuals with a STEAM background (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics), aimed to provide a strong foundation in AI and its applications.

Ibrahim Khaled Al-Sulaiti, President of the Youth Entrepreneur Club, emphasizes the significance of this collaboration in nurturing innovation and empowering the youth. The specialized curriculum, delivered through a blended learning approach, equipped participants with essential skills in Python programming and machine learning algorithms. The course structure included expert-led sessions, online modules, and practical exercises, enabling students to comprehend AI principles and apply them to real-world scenarios.

The establishment of SIC in Qatar underscores Samsung’s commitment to education and digital empowerment. This initiative aligns with Qatar Vision 2030’s goal of fostering a knowledge-based economy driven by innovation and technology. The partnership between Samsung and local authorities, formalized through a memorandum of understanding signed in October 2023, reflects a shared vision for building a skilled workforce capable of leading Qatar into a prosperous future.
