Calicut: The much-awaited book’ Spoken Arabic Made Easy’ by the celebrated author and pioneer of Spoken Arabic programmes, Dr. Amanulla Vadakkangara, was formally released at a distinguished function held at Calicut University.
The book was released by Dr. Jahir Husain, Head of the Departments of Arabic, Urdu and Persian Languages, Madras University, who handed over the first copy to V Anvar , the Finance Officer of Calicut University, marking the academic significance of the publication.
The function was chaired by Dr. T. A. Abdul Majeed, Head of the Department of Arabic, Calicut who lauded Dr. Amanulla’s lifelong contribution to promoting practical Arabic learning among non-native speakers. He noted that the book would be extremely beneficial for students, professionals, and expatriates seeking communicative proficiency in Arabic.
Speaking on the occasion, Mujeebur Rahman, Managing Director of Edumart Plus, highlighted the growing global demand for Spoken Arabic and appreciated the author’s systematic and learner-friendly approach. Shanu Green Job, Chairman of Green Jobs, emphasized the relevance of Arabic communication skills in today’s job market and praised the book for bridging the gap between academic Arabic and real-life communication.
In his address, Dr. Amanulla Vadakkangara expressed gratitude to Calicut University Arabic department and the distinguished guests for their encouragement. He stated that Spoken Arabic Made Easy is designed to help learners overcome fear and hesitation in speaking Arabic and to make language learning simple, practical, and enjoyable.
