MIRPUR ( AJK): Jan. 16 : Mirpur-AJK based South East Asia’s Largest non-governmental rehabilitation and educational outfit – Kashmir Orphan Relief Trust (KORT) Thursday achieved another milestone in its exceptional social welfare project after it inaugurated its State of the art Mosque project constructing a beautiful new Jamia Masjid which was formally opened for prayers in Saryan Talgran village in outskirt of the capital city of Muzaffarabad, it was officially said.
KORT’s founder Chairman Chaudhry Akhter Hussain inaugurated the Mosque by unveiling the plaque of the newly-constructed Mosque in presence of large number of the local notables who attended the inaugural ceremony.
In his brief address, the KORT founder chief Chaudhry Akhter said that the mosque could accommodate hundreds of worshippers. He extended heartfelt gratitude to the generous donors both at home and the UK based Pakistani and Kashmiri Diaspora community for their support for construction of the Mosque under the ongoing KORT sponsored mosque project in Azad Jammu Kashmir.
