Doha, Qatar – The Super Dancer Competition (Season 3), organized by Doha Music Lovers in association with Emote Edition Dance Studio, concluded with a grand finale at MIE SPPU Pune University in Doha. The event, which celebrated a diverse spectrum of dance forms, drew overwhelming participation and an audience of dance enthusiasts.
Over a period of three weeks, hundreds of passionate dancers competed in the auditions, showcasing their talent in classical, folk, cinematic, and western dance forms. From this extensive talent pool, 80 participants were selected to perform in the finale, competing across age categories: Kids, Sub-Juniors, Juniors, Teens, and Seniors.
The finale was a true spectacle of artistry and passion, with the auditorium filled to capacity. Hundreds of attendees gathered to witness the exceptional performances, leading to an overflow where some were unfortunately unable to secure a spot inside the venue.
Syed Rafi, President of Doha Music Lovers, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the entire team for their tireless efforts in making the event a resounding success. He extended special thanks to Jyoti and Sangeeta, directors of Emote Edition Dance Studio, for their unwavering support and collaboration.
The event was graced by several dignitaries, adding to its prestige. Notable attendees included: Koduru Shivaram Prasad, a prominent Telugu community leader; Krishna Kumar, former General Secretary of ICC; Nazia Ahamed, RJ at Radio 107 FM; Harish Reddy, President of Telugu Kala Samithi; Santhosh, General Manager of Malabar Gold & Diamonds.
Commenting on the event, Syed Rafi said, “This competition was a celebration of creativity, culture, and community. It was heartwarming to witness the talent and enthusiasm of all the participants. The overwhelming response from the audience is a testament to the growing love for dance and arts in Doha.” The judges for this great dance competition were Sarath Nair, Manoj Kumar, Ginesh, Rekha, Swapna, Bhavna and Mamani.
The Super Dancer Competition not only provided a platform for budding dancers to showcase their talent but also brought together a vibrant and diverse community of dance lovers. Plans are already underway for the next edition, promising an even grander celebration of dance.
The exceptional hosting skills of Mohinder Jalandhary, Christina, and Sangeeta kept the audience entertained throughout the evening, enhancing the experience for everyone present. Syed Rafi took a moment to recognize the incredible efforts of his team members—Ravi, Sara Ali Khan, Basit Pathan, Abdul Asim, Visalakshi Nara, Noor Afshan, Jyothi and Sangeeta—whose dedication made the Super Dancer competition a monumental success.
