Thousands of Palestinians Pray at Al Aqsa

Occupied Jerusalem, October 17 (QNA) – Tens of thousands of Palestinians attended Friday prayers at Al Aqsa Mosque, defying heavy security measures imposed by Israeli occupation forces.
WAFA reported intensified checkpoints and ID inspections near Al Asbat and Al Amoud Gates, as Israeli forces restricted access to the Old City.
Israeli troops assaulted an elderly man and a young worshipper near Al Asbat Gate, barring their entry to Al Aqsa Mosque.
Authorities continue to restrict thousands of West Bank Palestinians from reaching Jerusalem, requiring special permits to cross military checkpoints.
