Toastmasters District 116, Qatar Hosts Remarkable Club Officer Training (COT-2)

District 116 Toastmasters once again demonstrated its commitment to excellence with the successful execution of Club Officer Training 2 (COT-2), held at DPS Monarch International School. The event witnessed the participation of over 500 members and aimed to empower club officers with the knowledge and skills to lead effectively, ensuring the continued success of their clubs and the district.

The program featured impactful education modules delivered by District leaders, including Sherwin Olimpo, DTM, Club Growth Director; Alar Mel Mangai R, DTM, Program Quality Director; and Sabeena M K, DTM, District Director. These sessions provided valuable insights on bridging the gaps in club success, achieving goals strategically, and leaving a lasting legacy in leadership. The engaging and practical content captivated the audience, equipping them with actionable strategies to excel in their roles.

A special message from Past Region Advisor and First District 116 Director, Rajeswar Sundaresan, DTM, added an inspiring dimension to the training. His words emphasized the transformative power of leadership and the importance of nurturing growth within clubs and the community.

In addition to the general sessions, classroom-style training was provided for individual club officer roles by 16 eminent Toastmasters of District 116, ensuring tailored guidance and hands-on learning for each officer to excel in their specific responsibilities.

The seamless planning and execution of COT-2 were a testament to the hard work and dedication of the organizing team, led by TLI Chair TM Bindu Pillai. Her leadership, supported by a committed team of trainers and volunteers, ensured that the event was both impactful and memorable.
