He criticized Canada, claiming high taxes under Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and floated the idea of annexing Canada as the 51st U.S. state, promising reduced taxes and enhanced economic growth.
Trump also revisited past remarks about Greenland, asserting its strategic value to the U.S. and suggesting it “wants the U.S. to be there.” He further criticized Panama, implying U.S. ownership of the Panama Canal might be necessary unless toll fees for American ships are lowered.
