Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held a telephone conversation with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi to discuss the latest regional developments, particularly the ongoing situation in the Middle East, according to diplomatic sources in Turkey.
During the call, both ministers emphasized that the ongoing war in the Middle East must be brought to an end as soon as possible and discussed diplomatic efforts aimed at restoring peace and stability in the region. They underlined the importance of maintaining uninterrupted transportation routes, energy supplies, and global supply chains, noting that continued disruptions could negatively affect the global economy.
The two sides also reviewed bilateral relations, focusing on economic cooperation, trade relations, and mutual investment opportunities between Turkey and China. The conversation reaffirmed the commitment of both nations to further strengthen cooperation in various sectors while continuing diplomatic engagement on regional and international issues.
