Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Monday received South Korean President Lee Jae Myung with an official welcoming ceremony at the Presidential Complex in Ankara. The ceremony was attended by senior Turkish officials, including Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Energy and Natural Resources Minister Alparslan Bayraktar, Trade Minister Omer Bolat, Communications Director Burhanettin Duran, and the President’s Chief Advisor Akif Cagatay Kilic.
Following the welcoming ceremony, President Erdogan and President Lee proceeded to a bilateral meeting to discuss strengthening cooperation between Türkiye and South Korea in key areas of mutual interest. President Lee’s visit underscores the continued commitment of both nations to deepening strategic, economic, and diplomatic ties.
After the meeting, both sides will participate in an agreement-signing ceremony, marking new areas of collaboration. The two leaders are also expected to address the media in a joint press conference later in the day, highlighting the outcomes of their talks.xzzz
