London, August 05 (QNA) – The United Kingdom’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) on Tuesday called for the accountability of Israeli settlers responsible for the killing of Palestinian human rights activist Odeh Hathaleen in the West Bank.
In a statement, the FCDO expressed its profound sorrow over the killing of Hathaleen, urging the immediate and unconditional release of his body so that his family may lay him to rest with dignity in the Umm Al-Khair community, south of Hebron.
The statement stressed that settler violence cannot continue without accountability, calling for an end to the prevailing culture of impunity.
Hathaleen, a Palestinian activist and educator, was killed last week during an attack by Israeli settlers on the village of Umm Al-Khair in the occupied West Bank.
