Kyiv, March 10 (QNA) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Russia launched more than 2,100 air strikes on Ukraine during the past week.
Zelenskyy said in a post on social media that Russian forces launched attacks on Ukraine using 1,200 guided aerial bombs, about 870 attack drones, and more than 80 missiles of different types.
He stressed that many Russian weapons contain components manufactured abroad and called on Ukraine’s allies to tighten and enforce existing trade restrictions.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian military authorities said the Russian army had tried to retake the Ukrainian-held town of Sudzha in Russia’s western Kursk region by sending troops through a gas pipeline.
The Ukrainian General Staff said earlier that an air reconnaissance team timely detected the Russian forces and repelled them using missiles, artillery and drones
