Altaf Hamid Rao.
MIRPUR (AJK): April 7: In Indian Illegally occupied Jammu Kashmir the socalled Legislative Assembly of the disputed state witnessed uproar on Monday after the puppet Speaker refused to allow a discussion on the controversial Waqf (Amendment) Bill 2025, citing the matter as sub-judice, says a report reaching here Monday night from across the line of control.

The puppet Speaker, the report continued,
informed the “House” that the bill was currently under challenge in the Supreme Court of India and therefore cannot be debated.

“The announcement triggered strong reactions, especially from the socalled ruling National Conference MLA Tanvir Sadiq, who insisted that if the GST law introduced by the Indian government was discussed in the “Assembly”, the same should apply to the Waqf bill.

His demand was supported by legislators from the “ruling coalition partner” Congress and Peoples Democratic party of ex puppet CM Mehbooba Mufti , who attempted to storm the Well of the House but were restrained by armed marshals, the report said

Amid the continuing ruckus, the “Speaker” adjourned the session for 15 minutes — marking the first such adjournment during the ongoing budget session in the socalled Legislative assembly of the IIOJK, the report added.
