US Ambassador highlights Strategic Ties ahead of Trump’s Qatar visit

Doha, May 14 (QNA) – HE Ambassador of the United States to Qatar, Timmy Davis, emphasized that the upcoming visit of HE President Donald Trump to Doha reaffirms the strength of bilateral relations and the deepening cooperation between the two nations. In exclusive remarks to Qatar News Agency (QNA), he stated that US-Qatar relations, founded on mutual respect and shared interests, have never been stronger, reflecting their increasing alignment in addressing regional and global challenges.
Ambassador Davis highlighted that high-level engagements between the leadership of both countries continue to solidify this strategic partnership, reflecting their commitment to combating terrorism, expanding trade and investment, and promoting regional stability. He noted that the US and Qatar remain trusted allies dedicated to fostering peace, prosperity, and global cooperation.
The Ambassador pointed out that the US-Qatar Strategic Dialogue has been instrumental in advancing cooperation across various sectors, including security, trade, and diplomatic engagement. He praised Qatar’s efforts in emerging sectors such as healthcare, information technology, and cybersecurity, marking them as key areas for future collaboration and innovation.
Touching upon joint mediation efforts, Davis commended Qatar’s significant role in promoting peace and stability in Gaza, working alongside the US and Egypt to secure humanitarian aid and negotiate ceasefires.
